About the Event

If you want to learn about mosaics and experience the joy of making   one, we run monthly workshops, like this one to get your children   started with mosaics and to help them practice more.

We will teach you different mosaic techniques, with both direct and   indirect mosaic options being included throughout the year. Sessions  are  designed to be standalone or as a block of sessions for projects  that  require more time with discounts on multiple bookings.

We will be learning about different tiles and cutting techniques, we   will explore various mosaic materials such as, stone, smalti and marble   with all the tools involved in producing a fantastic piece of work to suit each child and their interests. They will have a lot of individual   tuition on this friendly course and they will be guided based on   individual needs. Each theme is prepared in advance but children are   encouraged to develop their own design if they have the confidence.

Through these classes chidren will be able to understand color and   shapes for mosaic making, understand the difference between direct,   indirect, double-reberse,  Ravenna mosaic techniques and be able to   color and grout thier own work.

Additional Info:  Drinks and snackswill be available during the   session.

Our building is not fitted with a lift but luckily we are only   located on the 1st floor to make it easyer for you. Toilets are  located  on the same floor so no more stairs for you! Free on-street parking  available on Sundays, £1.50 for up to 4 hours 8-6 any other day.
